Spares and Throwing Shapes 4 QOCBOC

Earlier this week, I unfortunately moved to the closer side to 50 as I turned 25. Was a lot less painful than I thought though, especially having Alex, Package, Andy and Darlo coming up to Leeds to celebrate the milestone with me.

Saturday we embarked on my first 'Otley Run' - a pub crawl through Leeds that consists of about 25 bars and pubs. We made it to about 15 before Alex and Package got sidetracked embracing the Pudsey experiences of 'Throwing Shapes' and 'Spares'. I had a really great night so thank you so much guys for coming to visit xxxx

For my actual birthday Chris took me out for dinner at an awesome curry restaurant in Bradford after already spoiling me with loads of presents. For those who haven't heard, a great present was finding out that I got the job in Canada for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.

I am soooo excited about the thought of being in Canada for the next 3 years and want lots and lots of visitors! I start my job on 1 October but will be heading over pretty soon to start to sort things out over there. Thanks so much to everyone for the emails of good luck and birthday greetings that I have had this week :)

Some Pictures of Yorkshire

Last week Chris had off work so we headed into York for the day with two of his friends. Was such a beautiful day.

We also went for a walk into Leeds along the Liverpool - Leeds canal which was lovely. Only 7 miles so not the kind of walk that you get up to Mum but it still took us a few hours.
